Details
(Keywords: crash)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20130307023931
Steps to reproduce:
Attempted to download a 100MB file to USB drive with gigabytes free, while system hard disk had only 10s of MB free
Actual results:
Firefox download process crashed with an incorrect error message:
"/Users/username/Downloads could not be saved, because an unknown error occurred.
Try saving to a different location."
-- NB: this error is completely incorrect:
1. I was not saving to that location
2. Firefox settings say "Always ask me where to save files", and this didn't happen
3. Firefox crashed *before* asking which location to save to
Expected results:
Firefox should have asked where to save, then saved the file

Please explain why this is a duplicate. The two bugs reference different bugs in the process.
When saving to USB drive, Firefox does NOT save to /tmp first. This bug is about the dialog box / error message running the wrong code before popping up - not about the download itself.
