User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.1) Gecko/20010607
BuildID: 2001060703
When selecting regular text following italic text and then deselecting,
the part of italic text that was hidden is not redrawn. Note that the
regular text does not use the same font family than the italic text.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select the dot just after the 'P'.
2. Deselect it.
Actual Results: The right part of the 'P' is not visible.
Expected Results: The 'P' should be completely visible, even the part that
was obscured by the blue selection.
Here is an HTML sample demonstrating the problem:
<p style='font-size: 40px; font-family: Arial'>A character in italic:
<span style='font-family: "Courier New"; font-style:
italic'>P</span>.<--Select this dot!</p>
Summary: Regular Times after italic Courier: incomplete text redraw after deselection → Regular Arial after italic Courier: incomplete text redraw after deselection

I saw this today too, on build 2001100808 (0.9.4+), MacOS 9.2.1
- go to http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/22149.html
- select the second paragraph
- the italic string 'WSJ' is now damaged : the J disapears
confirming that this still exists in the newest build, but its not a table
specific bug so reassigning to the core owner.
