Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20130307122351
Steps to reproduce:
- Opened Tools/"About Firefox" dialog.
- Tried to close it via "Ctrl-w" and "Ctrl-q", which didn't work.
Actual results:
- Couldn't close the dialog via "Ctrl-w" and "Ctrl-q".
Expected results:
- All dialogs should be able to be closed via standard keyboard shortcuts like "Ctrl-w" and "Ctrl-q".
Looks like as if the "About Firefox" dialog can only be closed via the window decorator buttons, which I have disabled.
I'm on Ubuntu 12.10, using Firefox 19.0.2 and my window manager is awesome-wm.

ALT+F4 works but making ^W and ^Q work is a correctly reported issue, I can't find previous duplicates. (Bug 608934 is related but different.)

Sorry, I misread - the About dialog, as other dialogs, can be closed by alt+f4 and Esc keys.

ESC works here, ALT-F4 not.
but shouldn't firefox use OS/WindowManager specific keybindings for this?

this but IS related to: Bug 608934 - About window needs a close button
the close button is NOT available in ubuntu 12.10, awesome-wm with unity integration.
i reopen here, since i cannot reopen #608934 but i think, this bugs are still not solved.
maybe it's available in gnome3, which i cannot confirm yet. maybe i'm a minority with my setup, then i don't mind, if you just close it again.
