Description: While browsing through different (regular) websites user gets loading troubles, "Well, this is embarrassing" screen appears and when it happens it kills other apps (music) running on the background Repro Steps: 1) Updated to Unagi Build ID: 20130403070204 2) Open Browser app 3) Browse through different web sites Actual: User gets "Well, this is embarrassing." screen while trying to load some regular web sites, when it happens it also kills music app if its playing on the background Expected: User is able to browse successfully without any issues Environmental Variables: Kernel Date: Dec 5 Gecko: http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g18/rev/d467369d1b0c Gaia: 06e0e5ce42bdfb62bdbe38271de6b5b2d9e40e75 Notes: Attached the screenshot of the error screen and logcat if that might be helpful
The browser app is behaving as expected. The device is running low on memory so kills the foreground content process in order to prevent the whole device from crashing and the browser is notified of this and displays the message you see. This is expected when browsing very memory intensive web sites on a low specification device. Making these error messages occur less often requires reducing the memory footprint of the whole of Gecko so I don't think this particular bug report serves any useful purpose. If you think a particular web site is using an unusually large amount of memory which might indicate a bug/memory leak in Gecko then please file a separate bug for that.
