User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20130326150557
Steps to reproduce:
In about:config the setting browser.download.manager.retention Indicates how long downloads are retained in the Download Manager's queue after the download is completed successfully. 0 indicates that the download should be removed upon completion; 1 indicates that completed and canceled downloads should be removed on quit; 2 indicates that downloads should never be removed automatically.
1. set browser.download.manager.retention to 0 in about:config
2. go to http://www.mozilla.org
3. download the firefox logo by right-click "save image as"
4. When the image download is completed it is still shown in the download history, instead of being automatically cleared
This also happens with any other download too, not just the described right-click method.
Actual results:
When browser.download.manager.retention is set to 0, the completed downloads are still shown in the new download managers history.
Expected results:
The download should have been automatically cleared from the download manager history when the download was completed.
