Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20130326150557
Steps to reproduce:
I upgraded Firefox from version 19 to version 20. After the upgrade, the address bar does not work, nor is there still a default search engine. The home page is loaded, and you can browse from there (mine is set to google). Just typing an url does not work.
The problem seems to be located with folder redirection. The appdata folder is located on a network drive. When creating a new clean profile on a network drive, the issue stays the same. When creating a new profile on a local disk, Firefox works normal again.
Actual results:
Upgraded Firefox to version 20 and search box and address bar do no longer work.
Expected results:
The upgrade should have worked?
