Browser and OS: Firefox 20.0 Beta on GNU/Linux Steps to Reproduce: 1. Look at the footer of https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/20.0/releasenotes/#footer → low contrast 2. Check it with WCAG Contrast Checker (check the "Text selector" checkbox and point at the blue text on blue background) https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/wcag-contrast-checker/ → low contrast for all the listed kinds of vision, 2.46-2.57 (whatever that means). rgb(102,155,225) on rgb(51,85,155) #669BE1 on #33559B
The license note has even darker text, low contrast even if I increase display contrast to too much for me. The extension says the ratio is 1.47.
The extension says some pieces of text on white background are also not OK even for normal vision, but for me they are OK, because I don't have to use the page. See the "Document" tab of the extension's sidebar for a list.
> See the "Document" tab of the extension's sidebar for a list. And click a "Test …" button there to highlight the list entries. The blue footer is used also at: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/legal/fraud-report/index.html#footer https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/contact.html#footer https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/#footer Pieces on white background can be found on many pages, I doubt it's useful to try to list them all in this bug?
