Topic: Open Forum on Mozilla Fundraising Presenter: Geoff MacDougall and Mozilla Foundation development team Date: 2013-05-01 Time: 10:00 UTC-7 Duration: 1 Hour Privacy: The Public Large Screen Location: MTV, SFO, TOR, LON, Description: ((I'd like Geoff to OK this description before we put it on a calendar. Thanks!)) You probably know that Mozilla is a non-profit organization that promotes openness, innovation and participation on the Internet. What you might not know: like all non-profits, Mozilla must raise charitable revenue in order to fulfill its mission. Join the Mozilla Foundation development team to learn about Mozilla's fundraising efforts: small dollar donors, grants, major gifts, and more. We'll share the findings from an organization-wide fundraising feasibility study, discuss Mozilla's non-profit designation, what it means and how we can work together to help Mozilla succeed in its mission. Special Requirements: We will likely run this three-ways—Toronto, Bay Area, London. Geoff will present from Toronto, I will present from Bay Area (office TBD), John from London.
We'll reschedule this, so closing for now.
