+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #856108 +++ Per discussion on IRC, it may be better to not require explicit annotations where it can be inferred correctly.
Can you please clarify what needs to be done here?

I ended up fixing this when I added the non-heap annotation, it looks like.
