Windows 7 fallback update tests are failing for Firefox 21.0b2 on betatest right now: > Execution of test-run aborted: Channel prefs not found.: c:\users\mozauto\appdata\local\temp\tmpzfwstc.binary\defaults\pref\channel-prefs.js I've tried testing fallback updates manually and there is no problem so there must be something going on in the tests or in the infrastructure. Resolving this is a critical to Firefox 21.0b2 sign off but not is not an absolute blocker.
Depends on: 857956
Juan, assuming bug 857956 gets resolved in time this should not affect your 20.0.1 testing (a patch is under review). I'm CCing you here as an FYI just in case. I will be signing off 21.0b2 after spotchecking these updates manually.
I believe this is resolved now. Anthony, can you confirm?
This is not fallback tests which are failing. It's the restore task of the binary and the following direct update tests which have to be blamed here. Seems like it's fixed but keeping the bug open for Anthonys feedback.
Summary: Firefox 21.0b2 Windows 7 fallback update tests failing with "channelprefs.js not found" → Update tests fail with "channelprefs.js not found"
Yup, this is fixed now. Sorry for not commenting earlier.
