Firefox Mobile 21 beta 2 / Nightly 23.0a1 2013-04-09 Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android 4.0.4) Steps to reproduce: 1. Load nfl.com 2. Load 5-6 news items in separate tabs 3. Wait for the tabs to load Expected results: The pages are correctly loaded Actual results: Firefox Mobile closes from what appears to be an OOM Notes: I could not reproduce the issue on the Asus EEE Transformer TF101 (Android 4.0.4) or with other websites
I narrowed down the cause to a specific article: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000158607/article/dawan-landry-signs-contract-with-new-york-jets Updated steps: 1. Load http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000158607/article/dawan-landry-signs-contract-with-new-york-jets and wait for it to load completely 2. Load anyother page in a new tab Result: Firefox closes.
Summary: Firefox Mobile closes after opening 5-6 news items from nfl.com in new tabs on the Samsung Galaxy Tab → Firefox Mobile closes after opening a specific nfl.com article and then another page on the Samsung Galaxy Tab
Looks like merely an out of memory problem; do a search in the log for 'has died' and look at all the processes being killed off. This is how Android operates.

This does not happen on the stock browser on the Samsung Galaxy Tab so this may be a Firefox Issue

Can you grab an about:memory dump using the instructions at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Fennec/Android#about:memory after loading the page? Note that the about:memory dumper was broken between 0e47bb858304 and bbed45f6dbcc (which I think includes the apr 10 nightly) so please use a build from before or after that range.
I am no longer able to reproduce the issue on the latest Nightly or Firefox Mobile 21 beta 2 so I am closing the issue as Works For Me
