Details
If I run mozilla, letting it open say www.yahoo.com and then I want to run
another instance (in case one GPFs or something) it doesn't run in a separate
window(and process) but opens homepage in currently open window.
reporter: please pick a bug and dupe this against it.
there are bugs for us not supporing multiple instances (these won't be fixed
any time soon), there are bugs for us not correctly opening windows (soon
fixed).
in the future please include a build id and only one complaint per bug.
fwiw I can run multiple instances using Windows 2000 Server's Terminal Services
feature, if you have server i think you can have 5 connections by default,
which is probably enough instances for most people.
You might also be able to run multiple instances by renaming mozilla. But in
most cases just using winEmbed, mfcEmbed and mozilla (for say mail) should give
you enough flexibilty, one for browsing, one for bookmarking and one for mail.
-- just use a seperate profile for each.
