When an app is installed from the Marketplace on Android, the Persona popup doesn't trigger anymore. It was working about a week ago or so. No errors either. Tested on a Samsung Galaxy S3 running JB 4.2
I can confirm this, no Persona popup in today's Fx for Android Nightly. I have an S3 also, running Android 4.1.1.
This might be intended behavior - we no longer require a login to install apps. This falls in alignment with anonymous app installs. Bouncing over to marketplace first to see what Chris thinks.

Jason, it's not the Persona login to install an app, it's the Persona login within an app - e.g. an app that uses Persona to create a user account outside of the Marketplace.

Confirmed that the patch in bug 826325 fixes this.

Any updates on when this will land on Firefox Beta for Android? I had a Marketplace app rejected because the Persona login would not trigger and I assume this affects any other app developers who rely on Persona for authentication. Thanks!
Firefox development is not schedule based. Until there is a patch landed we can't say when this bug will be fixed.
I'm just going to dup this over to the window.open bug that will fix it to shorten my work queue.
