User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130413 Firefox/23.0 Build ID: 20130413030927 Steps to reproduce: Add a password generator for filling up online forms. When Firefox detects a form, in the password options, get an option to automatically generate password. Google has already added this feature in Chrome 27. Nothing high priority, but worth a thought.

I'd like to bump this report. I second the opinion of the bug reporter. Most websites do not seem to be very good at store and protect user passwords, as frequent news of massive password leaks show. In this situation, using different passwords for different sites is basically a necessity. Having an easy-to-use password generator would enable this. Firefox already has excellent password storing/syncing capability; adding a password generator would further improve its overall security. I can image this is something which is hard to implement properly, but IMHO it would be worth investing some resources :-)
