When you select a normal URL and middle click (ie., middle click on selected
text rather than a link), it sends the selection to the address bar and opens
that page. But if you select an email address (nobody@foo.com) and middle
click, the url http://nobody@foo.com/ will be opened. There should be some kind
of detection to see if the selected text appears to be an email address, and if
so, open a new message in mail/news to that address instead of sending it to the
address bar.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a web page that has an email address (not a link) somewhere on the page
2. Select it by click-dragging the mouse
3. Middle click
Actual Results: The email address will be sent to the address bar.
Expected Results: A new message to the selected address should be opened.

The problem here is we just call LoadURI on the thing pasted into the browser
window. Perhaps we should be a little smarter.
See also bug 85677.
Resummarizing to make it clearer what the bug is.
Depends on: 85677
Summary: Middle click selected email address should open new message → Middle-mouse-paste of email address should open new message
