Steps to reproduce:

1. Start fresh profile
2. Go to http://js1k.com/2013-spring/demo/1556


3. Open the same demo in Chrome


Actual results:

Demo is Firefox is very slow.
Demo in Firefox is slower than Chrome


Expected results:

Demo should be fast. If possible, faster than Chrome

Also, this demo doesnt render in FF correctly.  In Chrome, you will see that in the starscape, some of the stars will grow, and become hexagonal shapes.

This issue is reproducible with FF 22 beta 2 (Build ID: 20130521223249), latest Aurora (Build ID: 20130523004551) and latest Nightly (Build ID: 20130523030935). The demo from comment 0 is slower than Chrome, with Hardware acceleration on/off.
