User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130409194949 Steps to reproduce: Tried to run a Java Applet with JRE 7 32 bit installed Actual results: Does not run. Instead getting a security exception Expected results: The game should have run as in JRE 6
The circled path pointing to JRE7 folder seems the culprit. If the same dll is from JRE 6 it is ok.
Is it still not solved?? It does not work with a clean profile too. I updated to Java 7.0.45 and the applets do not work. If I change the registry entry circled (and others) in the image attached is changed to point to JRE6 folder applets work fine. With JRE7 I get the following details of the error when I load a local applet game.... Java Plug-in 10.45.2.18 Using JRE version 1.7.0_45-b18 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM User home directory = C:\Users\********* ---------------------------------------------------- c: clear console window f: finalize objects on finalization queue g: garbage collect h: display this help message l: dump classloader list m: print memory usage o: trigger logging q: hide console r: reload policy configuration s: dump system and deployment properties t: dump thread list v: dump thread stack x: clear classloader cache 0-5: set trace level to <n> Hope this annoyance is cleared soon. I will request the developers to kindly confirm it works at their end before putting the ball into this court. Thanks.
Kindly let know the status of this unresolved proble.
