I'm running into some issues cloning kernel/msm from git.m.o.
git clone --quiet https://git.mozilla.org/external/caf/kernel/msm.git msm2
error: RPC failed; result=56, HTTP code = 200
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
fatal: protocol error: bad pack header
this also happens with git or repo are run without a PTY.
the attached patch uses the 'script' tool to run repo, so it runs as if it has a terminal attached
