User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0
Build ID: 20130116073211

Steps to reproduce:

If a sender sends me a message and uses blue as the color of their text and I hit reply, the blue is changed to black or whatever I have set in OPTIONS>COMPOSITION>GENERAL in HTML.

The sender can use red or green or any other color and the same thing happens; it is changed to black.

There needs to be an option to not change the original message's color or font.

Actual results:

The blue color is changed to black.

Expected results:

The quoted part of the message should have remained in the color the sender used.
Component: Message Compose Window → Composition
Product: Thunderbird → MailNews Core
Summary: Original Message Color Not Used / Changed → Original Message Color Not Used / Changed when quoted for replies
Strangely, both Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail keep the original message's font and color unless they are set to override it.
