Happens across platforms:
1. Load a pdf document which does not have an outline view (http://samplepdf.com/sample.pdf)
2. Click the sidebar button.
3. Select the "Show document outline button"
Actual Result: no action performed.
Expected: Until April 16th there used to be a "No outline" message.
Note: the button is functional for documents with outline view.

This was intentional. There's no point in having the button enabled if nothing will be shown.
