When you attempt to attach a photo or file from another application such as "Photo", "Bing", "SkyDrive" or "Camera", the "attachment" form will NOT be filled with what the user has selected.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1) Open Firefox Metro
2) Go to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=100000&action=enter
3) Select "Browse" and you should receive a "Files" metro window
4) Select the "Files" drop down and then select "Photos" near the bottom of the list
5) The "Photos" metro application should launch
6) Select any image that you can find and select "Open"
7) You will be taken back to the original webpage and you will notice that nothing has been attached in the form

Reproduced this several times on two different machines

Current Behavior:

- Selecting anything from a "Metro" application as an "Attachment" will not be added into the "Attachment" form

Expected Behavior:

- User's should be allowed to select images and files from other applications that are listed under the "Files" drop down menu

Used the following build when issue found:

So I think this is no longer an issue in 8.1.
There is an option for the sound recorder app, but it works correctly.
If you can reproduce this in 8.1 please re-open.  

For 8.0 I don't think it is worth fixing.
If anyone disagrees please feel free to re-open as well.

Brian, went through this with Windows 8.1 with the latest nightly build and it seems like its working correctly. Used the following build:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2013-11-10-03-02-05-mozilla-central/

- Went through the original test case from comment #0 without any issues

Also went through the following test cases and ensured that everything was working:

- Visited https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=100000&action=enter and selected "Browse"
- Ensured that you can select files from a network drive and that they appeared on the website correctly
- Ensured that you can select files from your local machine and that they appeared on the website correctly
- Ensured that you can select files from different locations on your local machine without any issues
- Ensured that you can select files from your sky drive and that they appeared on the website correctly
- Selected images, video's, documents, pdf's without any issues
- Ensured that selecting "ESC" correctly exited the Windows "browse" window and return to Firefox Metro
- Ensured that there's no crashes nor issues when sliding and closing Firefox Metro while the "Windows Browse" window is opened
