Dup of old bug 802, bullets positioned strangely around floats.

This is actually correct according to the CSS specs, if I read it right.
But anyway...

py8ieh=[e-mail], might you identify the section of the specification
that so proscribes to agree with your judgment, and how the standard affects a
page that does not strictly employ CSS, I respectfully ask? I wish to Verify and
expand my knowledge, you see.

The CSS2 spec points this problem out explicitly. See paragraph 7 of
section 12.6.1.

...the text in question is after an emphasised "Note":
# If a marker flows to the right of a float in a left-to-right formatting
