User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130409194949 Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.catalog-on-demand.com/plans/print-catalog-showcase.php 2. Notice that every paragraph has a "click here" to view a PDF. 3. Click on any of them - for example this first one: http://www.catalog-on-demand.com/PDF-e-Link/?ID=797Vp9DA Actual results: The PDF appears in Firefox internal viewer, but not the text. This problem is unique to the FF internal viewer. Every other viewer from every platform, including all mobile devices, work fine. Expected results: The text should be visible. Again, every other PDF viewer on every platform, including mobile platforms, show these PDFs fine. Only the FF internal viewer has this issue of not showing the text in these PDFs.

Bump. I have yet to find a PDF where text *does* work. I can't believe you guys are shipping this obviously unfinished PDF viewer.

We have found a workaround by using other fonts. The PDF's listed in the URL above will be replaced sometime soon.

(In reply to Tim Hennings from comment #3) > We have found a workaround by using other fonts. The PDF's listed in the URL > above will be replaced sometime soon. Hi Tim, I'm having the same problem, see http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2791229 and example document https://www.quay-systems.com/testinvoice.pdf Just interested what fonts you used to get around this as I've tried several 'common fonts' but no joy. I can only get it to work by turning off hardware acceleration or opening in safe mode - neither of which I can sell as a solution to our customers.

Ok, i think my old post was not good enough. I am using Devexpress to generate PDF and its designer tool there are one object called RichText that after changed to Georgia not show the text, but the object called Label does. So after some tests i find that RichText with Booled style shows.
