Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-SGI_XFS_1.0 i686; en-US; rv:0.9.1) Gecko/20010607 BuildID: 2001060720 it appears that viewing the source to a page that has gotten shorter (i.e. during development) leaves the tail-end of the previous page in the view-source window. The easiest way to replicate this is to take the following chunk of html, load it up in mozilla, view the source, edit the file to remove the comment, reload the page and then view the source again. Occasionally reloading the page even displays the "garbage" html. <html> <body> <!-- Yadda, yadda --> Hello World! </body> </html> Reproducible: Always
Caused by the same problem as bug 79983. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 79983 ***
