Opening StreetView prompts for popups permission, opting to show them opens StreetView along with a secondary tab with the URI: javascript:void(0) which perpetually spins it's throbber.
https://maps.google.com/; search, street view, accept popup prompt.

still an issue? Not sure how to trigger street view here nowadays.

Yes.
* load https://maps.google.com
* search for 650 Castro st. Mountain View, CA
* you may need to tap on the location marker
* tap the person icon on the bottom right
I am getting two javascript:void(0) popup windows.

relies on browsers ignoring target=_blank for void javascript: - links, known issue.
