The attached modifications make it so that we can build all the crypto
libraries (pki, ssl) into a single ``meta component'' for the static build.

Hey ddrinan, could you take a look at (and ideally land) these changes? We've
updated the component fu so that we can kludge components together into ``meta
components''. They've been r='d, sr='d, and a='d (see bug 46775 for the Unix
changes, and bug 81371 for Win32), and do not otherwise affect the ``normal''
build.

Is there a sequencing issue with this patch i.e. do *all* the patches
(86958,46775,81371) have to land at the same time? It seems to me if I landed
this now, it would probably break PSM builds.

Those changes are already in; they went in as part of the carpool, today. So,
although there is an ordering problem, it's been taken care of. :-)
