Could be a bug in the Yahoo toolbar. Do you see any errors in Error Console related to the "Yahoo"? Alex, do we have any contacts at Yahoo who might be able to speak to this issue?

(In reply to Anthony Hughes, Mozilla QA (:ashughes) from comment #1) > Could be a bug in the Yahoo toolbar. Do you see any errors in Error Console > related to the "Yahoo"? In error console I see: Timestamp: 5/13/2013 11:28:23 AM Error: _mReqBtns is null Source File: file:///C:/Users/alexandra.lucinet/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/aivseobw.yahoo/extensions/%7B635abd67-4fe9-1b23-4f01-e679fa7484c1%7D/components/nsYahooDomBuilder.js Line: 143 Apps cannot be added or removed after applying updates to FF 21 RC 4 ("betatest" channel) and FF 20.0.1 ("release" channel).
Could you please try reproducing this in a non-partner build? ie. install the Yahoo toolbar in vanilla Firefox 18.0 and follow your steps to reproduce.

I couldn't reproduce this issue with vanilla FF 18 (non-partner build), after installing the Yahoo toolbar and applying updates on "betatest" channel; apps can be added or removed accordingly.
One last thing, can you check that the version of the toolbar add-on in the partner build is the same as the latest toolbar version you can manually install?

The version of the yahoo toolbar in the partner build (is the same before and after updates - version 2.5.1) is not the same as the one I can manually install - version 2.6.1.
Thanks Alexandra. Alex, is there anything we can do on our end to ensure add-ons provided in partner repacks are updated to the latest version?
