STR:
1. Launch FF 21 RC build 4 with a clean profile.
2. Enter "mail.yahoo" in the location bar and press ctrl + enter.
Actual result:
"Server not found" page is displayed, URL is "http://www.mail.yahoo/".
Expected result:
Yahoo login page is displayed, URL is "http://www.mail.yahoo.com/".
Notes:
1. If you repeate step 2 for "yahoo", the Yahoo homepage is displayed.
2. Reproducible with FF 21 RC build 4 (Build ID: 20130512144307), latest Aurora (Build ID: 20130512004015), latest Nightly (Build ID: 20130512030908).

This issue is a regression - currently working on a regression range.

Looks like this is a regression introduced in Firefox 9 by Dao's patch for bug 673528. Nominating for tracking 22, 23, 24, but not 21 since this has existed for quite a while with little to no noise.
