When logging to the web console the user can only select and copy the entire line. It is much more useful to be able to highlight parts of the text.

Thank you for the bug report and for the patch. However, this patch is incomplete. Tests fail and text selection doesn't work properly. Messages are incorrectly rendered as well.

This bug is a duplicate of bug 706755.

Also, we are currently starting up work to rewrite the way the web console output works. We will drop the use of XUL in favor to HTML. See details here https://gist.github.com/mihaisucan/5399023

Georgii: thanks for your interest. We are already working on fixing this issue and related problems, in bug 760876. We have working patches at this point. I am currently fixing all of the failing web console tests.
