8729 - [PP] Crash changing start page to specific url

(This problem was found while verifying bug 2905)

Build:
 Linux June 22 Semonkey build (1999062208M8) installed on Compaq P200 Redhat 5.2

Problem:
 I changed my user_pref start page to point to URL
http://messenger.netscape.com/communicator/messenger/start/index.html
 When I try to start Messenger, I crash with a segmentation fault.

Note: this problem does not occur on the June 22 Win32 (1999062208) or PPC
(1999062208) build.  On PC and Mac, they load the page correctly.

Steps to reproduce problem:
1) Edit your prefs50.js and add the following line
    user_pref("mailnews.start_page.url",
"http://messenger.netscape.com/communicator/messenger/start/index.html");
2) Save changes to your prefs50.js
3) Start Apprunner
4) From the Task menu, start Messenger
   The windows draws the framework but when it tries to load the start page it
crashes.  It was the last thing the terminal window displayed

http://messenger.netscape.com/communicator/messenger/start/index.html causes a
redirect to http://home.netscape.com/messenger/start/index.html

that may be causing the crash.  investigating...

this is fixed now with necko!

Verified as fixed using the Linux seamonkey build 1999-08-16-08-m9.
The changed start page loads correctly.
