We can try to find a better translation (needinfo? on Fernando; is there a shorter sentence that could work here?) as a short-term solution, but really, we should make this banner be capable of displaying multiline strings because we will be running into this problem A LOT in the future.

Staś is right, design should be flexible since there's no way to guess how many characters are gonna be used by locales other than en-US...

anyway, I could probably truncate it to "Monitore suas chamadas e Internet" as a workaround

please tell me if the design issue is solved so I can restore it to original string, since it makes much more sense to users...

Same problem with these two strings.It got cut at the end.

widget-authed-sim-meta = Monitore suas chamadas e uso de Internet.
widget-no-sim2-meta = Insira um SIM e monitore o uso do telefone

We should not mix the bugs. If we are talking about other bugs, then let's open new bugs and gather them into a metabug. If we're reopening these, then let's reword the description to accurately describe the problem.

As per your comment5 the truncated string was ""Monitore suas chamadas e Internet" this.

But the comment6 the costcontrol.properties contains
differnt string "Monitore suas chamadas e uso de Internet." got cut at the end.

So please let me know which string is proper.
