1) Grab the latest Win32 build 2001062206 and begin installing.
2) Downloads fine, during installation an error causes the installation to halt.

The patches seem to fix the problem. I think it was a cvs conflict last night
between my checkins and Ian's. I'm CC:'ing Ian just to make sure the patch is
correct.
Ian, can I get an r= from you for the patches?

Sean. Your patches remove the updates I am putting in from 87225 and 5687 to
move the help content over into the en-US.jar. It (your pathc) may fix the
problem, but I still need my localizable stuff over there.
How can I get it over into en-US.jar/help without disrupting your patches from
last night?

Does a locale have to be registered from the langenus.jst file for some reason?
Help is the only thing being packaged into en-US.jar in browser.jst.

Doh! I should have caught this earlier. Yes, moving it landenus.jst is the
right thing to do. Not the first time this has bitten us. r=sgehani You'll
need to do the same for ns too.

r=ssu for ian's moz tree patch id=39697. We're still missing a similar patch to
the ns tree.

Checked in on both sides. Mark fixed or hold out for further verification?

jj
apparently the linux packaging fails silently. This morning endico and asa said
no content or dtd strings were in their help viewer. And mac I don't know about.
Comment 20•24 years ago
|
||
FYI: for all platforms, only an installer respin is required once the fixed .jst
files have been checked out. A respin of the full client build is _not_
necessary.
