Created attachment 752241 [details] logcat unfiltered We have an automated UI test that boots up B2G on a device, loads the setting app and uses the "Cellular & Data" section in the Settings app to enable Data connection. About 1 in 3 times this fails and it seems to be unique to the Commercial RIL. We can replicate it on Inari/v1.0.1 with the Commercial RIL but not on Unagi/v1.0.1 with the Mozilla RIL. I've attached a logcat all and a logcat of radio. On line 801 of logcat all there is a record of: "D/DATA_CALL_MGR_QC_B2G( 1878): Timer expired; forcing data to dormant" can someone explain how it got into this state? To describe the test case more accurately: 1. Restart b2g 2. Disable cell data 3. Load settings app 4. Go to "Cellular & Data" section 5. Toggle the enable Data connection switch. 6. Wait for "mozMobileConnection.data.connected == True"
Obsoleting this with bug 895059 which has better STR.
