Details

With Netscape 4.77, this works: the URL displays the message without opening a new news account. With Mozilla, this URL opens the news account wizard and what's more creates a fake account named "%3C9h01pl$2gu$1 on news". I use Mozilla build 2001062421 on linux (but I think it is a XP bug). See also bugs 11076, 36662, 41133 and 80972 that are almost dups of this bug.
