steps:

add a 2x2 table
type something in the first cell
click with mouse after the last character in the cell
keeping left mouse button pressed, select from right-2-left and cross the table 
boundary beyond the first character..

Observe that the ubercaret pays a visit...

i dont see an ubercaret.  But i do note that my selection disappears after I
drag out of table.  Seems like a selection bug.
