Tapping install on mobile AMO… and woah!
What version? Self built?

This *might* be what happens if an AddonManager listener throws.... which should not be an issue.

Self-built. Can't repro with Nightly, which means that something in the Add-ons Manager isn't error-tolerant.
Ugh, this sounds like bug 789888 which at one time was fixed.
Still getting this sometimes. I notice this in the log: 05-29 12:39:29.800 E/GeckoConsole(18412): [JavaScript Error: "data is null" {file: "jar:jar:file:///data/app/org.mozilla.fennec_rnewman-1.apk!/omni.ja!/components/PromptService.js" line: 259}]

rnewman, have you ever seen this again? PromptService.js has changed significantly since your last comment, so we could probably close this as WORKSFORME.

Haven't seen this again, but I don't install many add-ons! Thanks for the ping, Margaret. My guess is that it's data-driven (comment 2), so I'll close this as INCOMPLETE not WORKSFORME.
