Display call statuses like Connecting/Busy/Ringing/2:15 minute call/Canceled
More call statuses with descriptions in http://www.twilio.com/help/faq/voice/what-do-the-call-statuses-mean

The feature is still relevant.
My status type suggestion: Connecting/Busy/Ringing/2:15 minute call/Canceled

We have most of these implemented already. What exactly is missing, and why do you think we need them?

Firefox OS is missing at least the UI clear separation between Connecting and Ringing status, what would benefits a lot for 'hands free' UX. Currently Firefox OS requires a careful listening (over sound) of this statuses.
By just watching the phone screen, this statuses is not noticeable.
