Details

Currently the functionality of the autoadmin.append_emailaddr preference will post the userid in cases where there is no email address set. I think that it may be useful if there was a new pref, something like "autoadmin.append_userid" which could be set to true or false, to allow the admin to choose to send the userid even when the email address is set. I can see a potential problem which this preference would help with, this being a situation in which the user has multiple email accounts and decides to change his default account. This would most likely break any cgi that has been written which is dependant on the email address. It should be possible to lock the default email address, but it could be a little complicated.
