The *.tests files are relics of the jsDriver.pl bad old days, ergo long obsolete. There are several more of these relating to Narcissus as well, but I have no idea what the state of that project is to know for sure that we can kill them off.

https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/rev/dd4a83fed72f This also includes removal of: js/src/tests/narcissus.list js/src/tests/narcissus.README js/src/tests/narcissus-failures.txt js/src/tests/slow-narcissus.txt as https://github.com/mozilla/narcissus is a thing and has its own test gunk in it, so presumably these files are dead now. I got an rs= over IRC to remove these, too.
