Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.1+) Gecko/20010625 Items in Sidebar do not retain their order. I have: - Bookmarks - Search - MozillaZine - Tech News Periodically (almost every day), it will switch around to somthing like: - Search - MozillaZine - Bookmarks - Tech News The only workaround is to go to Tabs -> Customize Sidebar and change the order of some *non-displayed* sidebar item on the right panel and click OK. What a pain.

nscatfood because it is high visibility and very disorienting to the user to have UI elements at different locations every time.
what does periodically mean? so it does not change the order immediately but at some later time?
okay I can't reproduce this every time, tried on a couple of machines.. but I guess people have seen this from time to time...leaving it open...
