Details

1) After installing a packaged app, you are presented with an app object. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Apps/Updating_apps "Webapps:CancelDownload", "Webapps:CheckForUpdate", "Webapps:Download", "Webapps:ApplyDownload", The API seems to allow for a download event, a cancel download event, and an applydownload event.
