Let's augment <https://marketplace.firefox.com/developers/docs/apps_offline> with the things we learned this quarter. In particular, I would like to see: - a (maybe) one-liner why you should use: appcache, localstorage, asyncstorage, indexeddb - pros and cons for each - links to more in-depth resources Add a short code example to each. Keep it concise, though, you're not writing the reference documentation for these APIs. If you don't know what docs to link to for these things, Mark might be able to help.
Packaged apps actually are another way to make your app "offline-capable", so we should mention that. Also if you go packaged you probably don't need an appcache file(?).
Why is this still open? Is the PR blocked on anything?
https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/commit/7e2865e9 Very sorry for the delay - next time please *bug* us on GitHub on IRC =)
