I do not understand the bug here. Please clarify.
Take a look at the images first one has the current date: Monday 17 June 2013 (Master) The second one: MONDAY 17 JUNE 2013 (V1-train and V1.0.1) We change the way we write the text one uses capital case words and the second one upper case words
It is difficult to find out what is correct for master and we don't want to assume and test the wrong condition. It could be a regression and master is meant to display it in upper case. I tried looking through the commits but it was not clear to me where this change was being made.
I made the change in https://github.com/mozilla/gaia-ui-tests/pull/1014 but we still wait for a official response for this issue
I'm personally not familiar with any change or requirement that would've caused this. If the tests pass and the UI doesn't suck I'm happy.

This is really a UX question. I honestly don't have a opinion either way.
