System mouse capture not implemented for GTK. This is needed to fully implement
frame-based combo boxes.

check in a little bit of code that sort of does the right thing here but not
completely.  will check in more complete solution shortly.

When do you expect to turn on the XP code that depends on mouse capture ?

As a bonus, we need this to get xpmenus working.

it appears to already be in the combo box code.  it doesn't work as i would
expect it to, but I haven't had a chance to track it down in great detail yet.
