Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.2) Gecko/20010629 BuildID: 2001062823 When you start Mozilla, it takes up to 7 seconds to open a new window (even before loading html content). It is not only true for browser window (but this one takes very long) but for all windows, modal or not of the whole program. It is as long with any theme too. To compare with Navigator 4.X for MacOS, windows are displayed in a second. This is true for Explorer 5 for MacOS too. In fact this is true for every applications ;) I have a 9500/150mhz, so it is a slow computer, but anyway it is too long. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start mozilla 2.open new window 3.wait, wait, wait Actual Results: it was slow Expected Results: should be fast

<g> it's not very fast on my 7100/66 either... but this bug is useless since it doesn't tell us something we didn't already know. [vrfy dupe]
