See the linked document (and also attached) in PDF Reader and in the standalone viewer (I have tried Evince, which worked flawlessly).

There is no warning, error, etc. in the Javascript console when this is displayed.

Version: unspecified → 24 Branch
WFM with FF24 on Win 7 (with HWA on/off).

Also work on osx, seems to be a linux only issue.

WFM with firefox-24.0.en-US.linux64 and 2013-10-26-03-02-05-mozilla-central-firefox-27.0a1.en-US.linux-x86_64.

We were not able to replicate the issue of 3 Linux systems (fedora, ubuntu, arch) on Firefox 24. Closing as WFM. Once you are able to replicate, please specify details (Linux flavor, X Window System, versions) of your configuration to reopen the issue.
