In bug 888511, we noticed that we're leaking DOM requests. Or, I think that's what's going on.
It would be helpful, I think, to have a memory reporter indicating at least the number and type of outstanding DOM requests. That way we could observe these leaks when they occur. I'd bet that we're leaking other requests as well.
