88858 - delete key doesn't delete message

The delete key doesn't delete a message in the message window (IMAP on Mozilla
0.9.2 2001062823 running within Mac OS X Classic mode).

To reproduce:
Open an IMAP mail account.
Double-click on a message to open the message in its own window.
Press delete key.
Message should be deleted, but it is not. The delete button in the toolbar and
Edit->Delete Message in the menu both work properly.

I am not sure if this is the same as bug 72873.

Also, this is not the same as bug 57510, which deals with the "del" key, which
is a different key on the Mac keyboard. I am talking about the "delete" key,
located in the upper right of the keyboard.

This is a dup of bug 72873

It is the same bug. After I click on the edit menu and then try to click on 
delete/backspace the message got deleted.  commercial trunk build: 2001070204
