Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Firefox with clean profile.
2. Write anything in adressbar and pres enter.
3. Open new tab with "+" button and switch to it.
4. Switch back to previous tab.
5. Right-click on adressbar and choose "select all".
6. Choose "cut".
7. Right-click on adressbar and choose "paste".
Actual results:
Adressbar stays clear and no text appears, context menu items marked gray is innactive, only "cancel" button in all menu work.
Expected results:
Adressbar should filled with earlier cut text.

Additional info.
Reproducible: random. Can't see any system right now. Do not depends on installed addons or user profile, reproduced with clear profile and without addons.
Bug is present: from version 22 to nightly 25.0a1.
Bug is not present: in version 21 and lower.
Affects "cut" function at all, not only on adressbar - same for other text fields like forum posting forms and addons settings windows.
