891155 - [Browser] Scrolling through marketplace dev causes the search bar to bounce around

1. Go to https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/ in the browser
2. Scroll up and down the site

Expected

The search bar should remain on top.

Actual

The search bar begins to bounce around during scrolling.

Note - I think this is different than bug 891142. bug 891142 involves white flashes being present (gfx related?), while this appears to be a layout bug.

There's some weird bouncing of the when going to www.google.com and then scrolling down to the bottom.  It might be related to this, so I haven't filed a new bug.

Triage is asking to double check if this isn't a bug on a marketplace. Chris - Is this a bug on the marketplace side or the platform bug?

fwiw: I don't see this on the current rev of Unagi that I'm running. Here's some info on the versions I'm running.

    1.0.1.0-prerelease
Platform version:
    18.0
Build identifier:
    20130702230208

I've just updated via ezboot to 

Build 20130709230204

And I still don't see any weirdness via the browser on -dev.

This reproducing fine for me on a 7/9/2013 build on unagi (just double checked). Note that in order to reproduce this you have to go to marketplace dev in the browser, not the app.

Yep, I can confirm I was looking in the browser. I'm not seeing the same thing as the video on wifi or data on the builds that I listed above.

Hmm...don't know why you can't reproduce then. I just had someone else test this equivalently on a leo commercial RIL build (7/10 b2g18) and was also able to reproduce this on marketplace.firefox.com.

We're not doing anything differently between the browser and the app, so this is likely a gecko bug.

Looks like you are right. This doesn't reproduce on 1.01. Additionally, Swaroopa saw a similar bug to this reproducing on the mobile SUMO page. So looks like this is a gecko bug.

After the page is loaded on the browser, If I try to scroll down, the page keeps bouncing to the beginning of the page.

Attached the screenshot of the page where the page is displayed weirdly with the header bar coming in the middle of the page while it was bouncing.

bug 876542 was backed out on b2g18, so this is fixed now. I just confirmed it fixed on today's b2g18 build.
